Saint Mark's 20s/30s

June 2019 Simple Supper

April's Simple Supper will be June 4, in the Saint Mark's Parish Hall. We will be learning more about food insecurity and hunger in Philadelphia and beyond. For this potluck, we are asking that recipes mimic what most Americans on SNAP benefits (previously known as food stamps) can afford - about $1.40/person per meal or about $20 for a 15 person dish. Leanne Brown's cookbook Good and Cheap is a great resource for healthy, delicious and inexpensive meals.

Sign up here to bring an item for the potluck. We will have a casual mass, followed by dinner and discussion.
