Wine Tasting Gala & Auction

This is one of our school's primary fundraisers, which brings in a lot of revenue. Proceeds help maintain programs, fund equipment and support other needs that tuition does not cover. This event needs a large team of people to ensure its success. Volunteers are needed to lead various committees/teams and to be members on various committees/teams. Planning and execution of the event begins in the Fall. Volunteers are needed to help beginning in the Fall up to and including the day of the event. Note: All clean up crew will be given double time (e.g., if it takes 3 hours to clean up after the event, you will receive 6 hours of credit).

Volunteers will collect money and oversee the passing out of the wine until all wines in the rack are sold. Volunteers can work the entire 3-hour shift from 5-8 p.m. or a 1-hr min shift. Shift may end sooner than 8 p.m. if bottles sell out sooner.

Volunteers will stand at each silent auction table to pull bid sheets once the tables close for bidding and bring to checkout lead. After, volunteers will move baskets to the holding room. One hour shift 7-8 p.m

Auction Item Collection Room (Night of Event) (4)

Volunteers will stay in the "holding" room where auction items will be held after they close. Guests will come to this room to collect their items once they've paid and showed their receipt. Choose to work entire shift or 1-hour min. Shifts 8-11 p.m.

We need someone who is tech savvy and efficient at data entry to help our checkout lead the night of the event. We need 2 volunteers from 7:30-9:30 to help with data entry.
