Virtual submissions accepted by Sunday, October 9 EOD. Guidelines can be found attached below.
All auditionees must fill out the following audition form by Saturday, October 8.
Please be prepared to present the side assigned to the character you are most interested in playing. You'll find the sides and character breakdowns attached below. While it is not required that you have the side memorized, the more familiar you are with the side, the stronger your audition will be. It is recommended that you read the script prior to auditions and are very familiar with the side(s) for your character. Additionally, be prepared to present 16 bars of music a capella from a song of your choice (Note: This can be as simple as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star-- we just want to hear your voice!). Musicians interested in the musical troupe, please also be prepared to perform a short instrumental piece on your instrument.
Casting is open to non-binary, trans, and gender non-conforming actors as well as actors of color regardless of the documented gender identity, race/ethnicity of the characters. While the characters and story are based on real events - the play is not an accurate historical drama. Please be aware that we cannot alter the pronouns used in the script so actors should be comfortable with the pronouns assigned to the character they are auditioning for.
