Room At The Inn Volunteers
Room At the Inn is a homeless shelter that serves women and families who are moving toward self sufficiency and a home of their own. After being at the shelter facility in Bridgeton during the day, clients move to a night site that provides a meal and a place to sleep.
KUMC host guests on the 1st Thursday of the Month. We host an average of 10 guests per month. The Number of guests is provided Thursday afternoon.
SET UP: (1-2hr) Thursday any time before 5:00pm
DRIVERS Thurs PM: (4:30-6pm) Pick up guests by 5pm in Bridgeton using personal vehicle and/or and Blue Church Van.

MEAL/FOOD PREP: Serve at 530-630. Plan to feed 12-15 people, depending on additional small group members sharing in the fellowship.
INNKEEPERS: Arrive by 7:00pm and serve as overnight hosts. In the AM, gather bedding and put used linens in laundry basket and place in front of RATI closet

DRIVERS Fri AM: Arrive at KUMC at 615AM, guest leave at 630AM Use of personal vehicle and Blue Church Van
LAUNDRY: Take the dirty linens home, wash and return them to RATI closet within the next couple weeks.
