We are seeking adult volunteers to help us with alcohol wristband sales during the Western Montana Fair, August 10-14. Patrons wishing to purchase alcohol at the fair must first buy a wristband for $1 that shows they are of legal drinking age. We will take the money and affix the wristband before the person approaches the bar. In exchange, Glacier Ice Rink receives a minimum of $4,000, which will go toward our youth hockey financial assistance fund (formerly called the scholarship fund).
We will be positioned next to the bars in three locations:
-The Culinary Club - located inside the Culinary building, #16
-The Watering Hole - located on the patio of building #9
-The Cowboy Corner - located in the west grandstands during events
All volunteers receive a Glacier Ice Rink t-shirt and youth hockey parents may apply the time to their volunteer obligation for the upcoming season.
