The Brat stand has been active for over 21 years at every UW Badger football home game. All of the proceeds go to providing wraparound services to support mental health wellness, early childhood home visiting and literacy education, and the prevention of child abuse offered at RISE (formerly Center for Families and Community Partnerships).
The success of this stand is the result of dedicated volunteers. The call for volunteers is to help during any or all games. The stand is open for business before, during, and after each home game (unless it is a night game). There are seven games and volunteer times vary based on actual kick-off time of each game*. Volunteer tasks and times are listed below for each game day. As more game times are announced, we will update the time slots marked as "TBD" (to be determined) with the correct times.
Volunteers can choose as many time slots and days as desired! This is sure to be an event with Badger-filled fun!
Food and drink is included for volunteers! (Responsible use and over the age of 21 for beer)
Please note, because alcohol is being sold, children under 18 are not allowed to volunteer during serving hours but could assist in set up and tear down.
NOTE: If you are able to volunteer for the full day, be sure to check both time slots for each day. We currently have the day broken out into two shifts but hope to fill all slots for each day.
*All times may be subject to change.
