It is time to secure our volunteers to direct parking at Lakeland PigFest!
Thursday - Saturday, January 28-30, 2021
Your volunteer hours are greatly appreciated and essential to the success of Camp Fire & Lakeland PigFest.
Over the last five years, Lakeland PigFest has donated a total of $210,000+ to Camp Fire Sunshine's programs for youth!
As a Camp Fire volunteer, you will be directing cars as they enter the grounds and helping make sure the parking lots are organized and efficient. The atmosphere is fast paced but fun. You will be outdoors, on your feet in varying weather conditions, so we ask that you come prepared with comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the day/night.
Parking volunteers must be at least 16 years old. As per PigFest rules, all teens MUST have a waiver signed by a parent, or they will NOT be allowed to volunteer. The waiver may be printed off below.
Our board members and staff are hard at work to make sure your experience during these parking shifts is enjoyable. We have a dedicated hospitality team in place to provide snacks, water, and bathroom breaks. Camp Fire volunteers will also eceive a dump cake voucher to redeem at the festival, so that you can not only work, but also take time to play.
Please be on the lookout for a confirmation email the week of PigFest. This will contain information essential to your duties the day/night of your shift, including your parking pass.
If you have any questions, please contact Camp Fire at 863-688-5491 or Lynn Anne at [email protected] or her cell 813-363-0495.
Thanks,
Kevin Kingery
