Village of Flossmoor

MLK Day of Service-Village of Flossmoor

In 1994 Congress declared Dr. King’s federal holiday a National Day of Service. Over the last two decades, millions of people have given back on this day. Since 2015, the Village of Flossmoor, along with our partners, have participated in the MLK Day of Service and this year we would like to create even more community volunteer opportunities by increasing the number of volunteers to participate.

The Flossmoor Community Relations Commission is pleased to be coordinating the 6th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service on Monday, January 20, 2020. Make this a day ON, not a day OFF. We are seeking volunteers for service projects at a location in Homewood-Flossmoor on MLK Day.

Questions can be directed to Nickie Brookens at the Village of Flossmoor: 708.798-2300 or [email protected].  We have all of our projects for 2020 ready for your view.  Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.  Thank you!

*Note: If you are signing up to from a desktop, once you select the program you want to volunteer for just scroll down to the bottom and push the submit button.
