NMB volunteers
This sign up is for anyone who is a parent/relative of an NMB marcher who is 1) an employee of State Farm and 2) can pledge to help a minimum of 3 hours (or as much as you can) with the NMB Invitational on 9/17/21 and 3) has not yet worked towards a team grant for State Farm this year for any other organization.
If you are working towards your individual grant with 40 hours of service, please continue to do that. However if you don't know that you'll be able to make 40 hours of service on your own (or you've already achieved your 40 hours and want to do more), are you aware that State Farm now also offers a "team grant" option? This allows between 2-40 eligible associates to pool together their volutneer hours for a particular event and as a team, earn a $500 grant for their non-profit organization. https://www.cybergrants.com/statefarm/Good_Neighbor_Grant_Team_Program_Guidelines.pdf
We would like to take advantage of this opportunity and build teams of State Farm employees who are willing and able to commit to a minimum of 3 hours of volunteer work for the NMB Invitational which takes place on 9/18/21. As a reminder, all families are asked to volunteer in some capacity for this event. Since you're already going to be there, might as well pledge some hours so we can add you to a team and build towards a team grant!
Simply add your name to the list, include your work alias and select the # of hours you can volunteer for this event from the quantity drop-down field. Volunteer hours can be fulfilled up to and on that date, provided the hours you work are for the actual event (i.e. prep/planning, set up, help during the event and/or clean up afterwards). Once we have the pledged hours, "teams" will be created based on the # of hours you have pledged, in order to form teams who can pledge a minimum of 40 hours.
