The Georgia Association of Women Lawyers (GAWL) is committed to serving dinner to the residents of Nicholas House on the second Wednesday of each month. Nicholas House is a homeless shelter for families with minor children in Grant Park, Atlanta. We welcome members and non-members of GAWL to volunteer. Children ages 15 and up are also welcome.
The GAWL Community Service Committee needs at least 3-4 volunteers to purchase and serve dinner at Nicholas House on the second Wednesday of each month. Food should be set up by 6:15 p.m., and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 7:20 p.m. You can use Nicholas House's commercial kitchen to prepare and/or heat up the food. There needs to be enough food to feed approximately 45 resident and volunteers will know the final headcount before their shifts.

Thank you so much for volunteering and feel free to contact us with any questions.
