Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Polk County Cattle Baron's Ball!  Please read the descriptions and times carefully, and select the role that you will be best suited for.  

Volunteers the night of the event (November 30, 2018) need to arrive by 4:30 PM to receive training in the roles, and should plan on being on site until 11:00 PM.  Dinner and breaks will be provided.  A special THANK YOU to Mitchell's Coffee Shop for providing our volunteers dinner!  Please wear jeans, a black shirt, and comfortable shoes, as we will be outside.  Bandanas will also be provided.

Set up the games and revenue enhancers. This will include some lifting and moving of items, as well as some decorating. Direction will be given by the committee.

Volunteers to work the registration booth, and then assist with processing auction items for end-of-event check-out. Must have experience with customer service and making guests feel welcome! (age 21 or up only)

Auction Assistants (8)

Volunteers to assist the Auction Co-chairs during the event, helping with the silent and live auctions, as well as the cash call. At the end of the evening, volunteers will help tally totals and run auction items to the check-out table.

Greet people as they arrive and guide them to the registration area. During live auction and cash call, act as bid catchers, and help ensure proper bidder numbers are recorded. (high energy/encourage attendees to bid)
