Sustainable Community Steward Volunteers
Broken item drop-off is scheduled for Saturday, October 9th (October 6-8 for bicycles via Sharing Wheels), 10 am - 12 pm at Hopeworks Station North. We will be taking limited registrations and will be requiring masks for all participants. Items will be repaired off-site and returned on Saturday, October 23rd, 10 am - 12 pm.
Accepted items include: Clocks, Jewelry, Vacuums, small appliances, home décor, lamps, and some electronics. Textile and clothing repairs are available as well. If you can carry it, we’ll try to repair it!
If you have a bicycle repair, please see the last 3 slots of the sign-up for the dates 10/6-10/8 for bike drop off at our Repair Partner, Sharing Wheels.
Please note: We are unable to fund the cost of any additional parts needed. If a part is needed to be purchased to make the repair, our volunteer will contact you to discuss before parts are ordered. Repairs are not guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible for any damage made in attempt to repair items.
Steps To Participate:
· Register via Sign-up Genius (below)
· Arrive at Hopeworks Station North, Saturday October 9th, between 10am-12pm
· Repair Specialists will be on-site after 12 pm to collect your item, and will work with you remotely on repairing your item over a 2-week period. Items will be returned, Saturday, October 23rd from 10 am - 12 pm.
· Optional: Log onto WSU Sustainable Community Steward donation website and make a donation towards our Repair Café program.
