On the first Sunday morning help unpack the truck and setup beds.
Stop by Parish House in the morning Monday through Thursday and determine if additional supplies are needed. A list of supplies and the minimum quantities will be posted on the refrigerator. Either shop for additional supplies or notify church secretary or Alice King of the needed supplies. These supplies will be breakfast items, lunch items, condiments, drinks, etc. Anything purchased will be reimbursed.
Each Evening, Prepare & Serve Dinner/Evening Host:
Prepare a hot meal at home or in the Parish House kitchen. Dinner is served at approximately 6:30pm. Serve dinner and eat with our guests. After dinner, socialize with our guests, help parents with children's needs, play games or activities with the children, help children with homework, or other needs. Remain until the overnight hosts arrive at 8:30pm. A minimum of 2 adults is needed. Feel free to make this a family activity. Note that Saturday and Sunday times are slightly different.
Spend a little time with guests before bedtime. Sleep at the Parish House to be available in case of an emergency. Make sure our guests are up in time for morning pickup. Set breakfast foods up and help as needed with breakfast. A minimum of 2 adults is needed. Guests leave approximately 6am on weekdays, later on weekends.
Prepare Hot Breakfast:
Saturday morning prepare a hot breakfast at home or in the Parish House kitchen. Serve breakfast and eat with our guests.
On the last Sunday morning, pack up the beds, collect laundry, load truck
Wash bedding and towels after our guests depart
