July - Dec: Maintain, update, and/or make improvements to WTT website - Pretty casual pace.
(MULTIPLE DAYS) Publicize event in newspapers, online calendars, Facebook, send emails to former trotters. This job can start at a leisurely pace over the Summer. The majority of the work is done from September through November
Early Sept. through Thanksgiving - Manage online registration, process payments, communicate with late payers (must be spreadsheet savy)
(OCTOBER - THANKSGIVING DAY) Manage parking volunteers, design parking plan
Pre-event Food Coordinator
(MULTIPLE DAYS) Confirm food and supply donations from previous suppliers, oversee food and supplies gatherers
Publicity - Flyers
(MULTIPLE DAYS) Post flyers in Windham, Salem, Londonderry & Derry (post between 10/7 and 11/5)
Publicity - Banner Signs
(MULTIPLE DAYS) Large banner signs (2) - Set up on Route 111 and check on weekly to confirm they are still visibile - Last week in October though Thanksgiving.
(MULTIPLE DAYS) Pickup hot drink dispensers from McDonalds; purchase hot chocolate mix at BJs, pickup water at Shaws - bring to 70 Blossom

Two part job ... 1) Pickup beverage thermos, hot choc. mix & instructions from Food Coordinator wkend of 11/19 ... 2) Make at your home, bring Thanksgiving morning by 7:45. Please sign up for both an 11/19 & 11/24 time slot if you sign up for this job.
Munchkin Picker Upper - Day before Thanksgiving
Pick up Muchkin donation in Windham) (after the morning rush) and deliver to 70 Blossom Rd.
Parking Attendant - Event Day
Adults and mature teenagers (16 and older) only. WHS Students can earn Community Service hours for helping.

Instruct registration volunteers before participant arrivals and through late registration period. Help reassemble the registration supply boxes.

T-shirt Distribution - Event Day
T-shirts Distribution Late Comers - Event Day
Help with distributing shirts in the back yard initially. Once the Trot starts at 9:00 the shirts are moved to the garage and we need one person who has already been working with the shirts to remain for late comers.
This is a great job for both non-trotters & for people who plan to participate. Trotters can finish the course and then come help out for a bit!

Pickup course direction and parking signs after trot is over (car needed)

Pickup 2 large banner signs, 1 telephone pole sign and bring back to 70 Blossom Rd - Needed: car & screw driver (easier with cordless power one)
Update database with information from Event Day registrations. The time frame to complete this is flexible, ideally being completed by the end of December.
