Upper Perkiomen Community Day of Service

Join us for the third annual Community Day of Service.  A variety of projects are scheduled for the day, both morning and afternoon, so that you can use your hands and feet and bodies to do God's work in service to our neighbors.  Please sign up below and indicate your t-shirt size.

Crafting Project (10)

Participants will help create 80 Valentine-themed gifts for visitors at the Senior Center. Tasks could include decorating mugs, baking cookies, filling mugs with cookies/candy and making cards. This would be a great project for families with children.

Thrift Store Work Team (15)

Volunteers will serve at the thrift shop - tasks could include sorting and hanging up clothes and housekeeping on the sales floor.

This person will meet the prep team at Friedens UCC and deliver the food to the Upper Perk Manor for the meal team to serve.

Volunteers will be helping to unload the Rise Against Hunger truck and set up for the meal packaging event.

Meal Serving Project at Upper Perk Manor (10)

Volunteers will be setting up and serving a home-cooked meal (prepared by another team) to the residents at the Upper Perk Manor. This team may also be delivering meals to a few residents in their apartments who are unable to come down for the meal.
