For the past 48 years, the First United Methodist Church of Kearney has served a community Christmas meal. This year, they are partnering with Hot Meals USA and various local nonprofits to expand this meal’s reach and make sure our community receives a FREE Community Christmas Dinner in the Kearney area.
WHEN: December 25, 2020 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
WHERE: Drive-Thru at Mom and Dad’s BBQ; 222 W. 42nd St.
Delivery: Request meal delivery at 308-234-3880 by December 23.
WHAT: We are feeding health care workers, law enforcement, fire fighters, Buffalo County corrections employees, long-term care home workers, and ANY person or family in need of a free Christmas dinner. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
VOLUNTEER: We need help prepping, packing, and delivering meals. Please use the SignUpGenius to sign up to volunteer. A hat and mask are required. Temperatures will be taken the day you volunteer to help.

Donations can be received at the church. If you would like no contact, you can call ahead at (308) 237-3158, drop-in the black mailbox on the office doors, and the church will grab your donation after you've left. You can also bring it into the office.
We need +$12,000 to feed 3000+ community members. Note: Any funds raised over expenses will be used to provide food to local people in need through our food pantries.
