HANDS Holiday Season 2019

Prep and Christmas Day at Elks Lodge

Thank you for helping nourish older Vermonters this holiday season!

HANDS (Helping And Nurturing Diverse Seniors) is hosting the 15th annual Senior Holiday Meal this year on Dec. 25. We partner with Age Well, Burlington School Food Project, Elks Lodge, and Temple Sinai along with hundreds of volunteers and businesses to provide more than 700 Chittenden County seniors with a home-delivered meal and a shared sit-down dinner on Christmas Day. Along with a delicious meal, each senior receives a giftbag full of wrapped presents which, in many cases, is the only gift that he/she receives during the holiday season.

We depend on volunteers to help prepare for the event and to help with the Christmas Day sit-down dinner at the Elks Lodge in Burlington's New North End. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SELECT YOUR VOLUNTEER SLOT BELOW.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to donate items for the giftbags (see list at http://handsvt.org/wish-list), contact Jess Hyman at 802-598-3139 or [email protected]

We are so grateful for your generosity and positive energy!
