Chatham Serves Spring 2020

We love Chatham County!                                                         April 19th

We know that you do, too.  This Spring, Jesus' call to love our neighbors has never resonated for us so plainly.  The corona crisis has created unique opportunities to serve people in Chatham County that need help and healing.  Twice each year, at Chatham Community Church, we typically replace Sunday morning worship services with a community service day known as Chatham Serves.  With Live-Streaming Worship Services lessening the effects of social distancing, we have decided to leave that in place for Sunday morning, and invite you to follow up later on Sunday, April 19th with a choice of service projects that works for you and your family.  Because even more than ever, Chatham Serves.

Over the past 13 years, over 14,000 work hours have been invested to engage our world for good.  We invite you to be a part. There are many projects to choose from, and all within safe and healthy guidelines for you and your family to love your neighbors and your world.  There are projects for people of all ages, interests and abilities, kids to senior adults.  Check out the sign up list below for specific projects.  This sign up is one way to know that we are serving together.

Thanks for your interest in Chatham Serves.  If you’d like more information about Chatham Community Church and the heart behind Chatham Serves please visit our web site: http://www.chathamchurch.org/chatham-serves

There will be a virtual opportunity at the end of the day on April 19th, to get online and share how you are doing and how you are serving in your corner of the county even through these most unexpected and challenging times.
