2019 Champs Volunteers
It's time to sign up for Champs volunteer slots! Please see the slots we have been assigned below. Each family is responsible for signing up for AT LEAST 1 shift per day they are attending. These shifts do not have to be split between days; for example, if you have a 9-10 swimmer, your swimmer will swim both Saturday and Sunday, and you are therefore expected to sign up for 2 shifts. Both shifts can be on Sunday. If you are willing/able, please consider signing up for more shifts than your family expectation.
PLEASE NOTE: We always lack volunteers on Sunday! In the event that a 6u ONLY family needs a shift, those with older swimmers MIGHT be asked to swap a Saturday shift for a Sunday shift in the event that Saturday is full. Heather will contact you directly!
We are assigned a certain percentage of the total volunteer slots based on our team sizes. As the largest team in the league, we also have the largest percentage of volunteer slots. We MUST report these positions as filled to the league.
6u ONLY families: each family needs to sign up for AT LEAST 1 shift. YOU WILL ONLY SIGN UP FOR A SHIFT ON SATURDAY, 6u's do not swim on Sunday. If you have another child in another age group that swims Sunday, you fall into the 'everyone else' category below. If you ONLY have a 6u and Saturday is full, please email Heather at [email protected] She will move people around to accomodate you on Saturday.
Everyone else: each family needs to sign up for AT LEAST 2 shifts. These can be split between days, or both on one day.
BONUS SHIFTS: We are responsible for set up and take down this year, so please help us show the other teams how it's done! The more Stingrays we can get to help at set up and take down, the faster and easier it will be! If you are willing to help with set up on Friday afternoon, please come to the Woodland pool anytime after 4pm. You may bring your personal items to set up as well, but all personal items must be left outside until League set up is complete. We WILL be removing personal items brought inside the gates before League set up is done! :) We also need help transporting items from the Stingrays shed as well as the League storage unit. If you can help with either of these things, please indicate it in the comments box.
For take down, we will begin taking the league equipment/other items down during shift 4 on Sunday. This usually goes quickly if we can get a lot of people to help out. Please see Heather for more details on this! Take down is complete before the awards ceremony.

Shift 1: Saturday events 3-16/Sunday events 47-66
Shift 2: Saturday events 17-36 & 6u relay/Sunday events 67-76
Shift 3: Lunch
