After School Enrichment (ASE) (30)

During the month of February, various classes are offered by local volunteers for an hour after school. These classes give students the opportunity to try something new and have fun. Come help manage the program, find volunteers to teach, or help during.

Art Volunteers (AVIC) (50)

A periodic art appreciation class led by parent volunteers to introduce students to a wide range of artists & styles of artwork.

Assemblies (20)

Special educational programming in a large group setting several times per year

Fall Festival (75)

Help with our fall family festival set-up/tear-down, day-of volunteers, organizing event, etc.

Copy Cats (10)

Help teachers fulfill work room/copy requests (a familiarity with copiers is a plus. Also, volunteers are expected to give a few hours per month.)

District PTO Rep (2)

Volunteer attends monthly collaborative and informational meeting of PTO reps throughout District 303 and shares information with the Ferson PTO board.

Donations, Raffles, & Fundraising (100)

Solicit donations, coordinate raffles, and manage fundraising events.

Field Day (5)

Assist the PE Teachers as needed and coordinate volunteers accordingly.

5th Grade Celebration (5)

Plan an end of the year celebration to honor the 5th graders.

Floral Sales (Mums & Spring Flowers) (20)

Help distribute flowers at school the day of delivery.

Frosty Fest (75)

Help with this fun, festive winter festival that offers holiday shopping, concessions, etc.

Fund the Foxes (5)

Help promote & coordinate fundraising opportunities that allow PTO to provide field trips, classroom enrichment, assemblies, and more!

Greater Education Foundation Gift Basket

Collect donations for and create a gift basket to be auctioned at the Greater Education Foundation annual gala to raise money for grants that benefit D303 schools

Hospitality (20)

Help coordinate and provide refreshments & desserts at events, including meals for staff during conferences, etc.

Pop Tabs (3)

Collect pop tabs (from drinks, canned goods, etc.) to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

Raisin' Rep (2)

Help promote ways to participate in enriching our children's school experience through managing Box Tops, AmazonSmile, and Market Days.

Recycling Ink Cartridges (2)

Collect ink and toner cartridges from school and recycle at a local Staples store.

Restaurant Nights (3)

Coordinate fundraising events at local restaurants

School Beautification (Exterior) (10)

Help enhance the exterior entrance of the school with seasonally appropriate decorations and container plants.

School Beautification (Interior) (10)

Help create a fun & inviting atmosphere by decorating the front lobby, display case, and bulletin boards. Creative minds welcome!

School Board Rep (2)

This representative attends the School Board meetings and provides monthly updates at our monthly PTO meetings.

Staff Appreciation Week (30)

Help plan special events and activities for the Ferson Creek staff each day during the week to show our gratitude to the hardworking teams that care for our children at school.

Help make sure the Talent Show goes off without a hitch! Opportunities available for all preferred levels of engagement.
