LEAD SOUND ROOM OPERATOR: Rich Surguine
This schedule is for people that have been trained on using MVLCS sound and video equipment. If you are interested in becoming part of our team, please contact the church office ([email protected] or 702-360-8290) for training and instruction.
ATTENTION: We have edited the positions to reflect help as needed. Please email us should anything change. We appreciate your input and will be in touch should anything new arise.
Sound Board operator:
Be capably trained to use Midas soundboard in Sound Room and associated mics and related equipment
Arrive at least 30 minutes before event to set up and test equipment
Review published event script to be best prepared for event sequences (mics used, etc.)
Possibly help maintain stained glass window sun shade position during daytime events
Willingness to ably communicate with musicians, speakers, and fellow Sound Room volunteers

Service Slides/Computer operator:
Be capably trained to use Power Point and Pro Presenter applications (and CD/DVD playing and/or access in-house network files when necessary) on Windows PC in Sound Room
Arrive at least 30 minutes before event to set up and test equipment
Review published event script to be best prepared for event sequences (hymn number accuracy, liturgy accuracy, slide accuracy, etc.)
Possibly help maintain stained glass window sun shade position during daytime events
Attention to details, familiarity with event structures
Willingness to ably communicate with musicians, speakers, and fellow Sound Room volunteers

Sermon Recording operator:
Be capably trained to use Garage Band and Google Chrome (to access and use Word Press) on Mac desktop computer in Sound Room
Arrive at least 10 minutes before event to set up for accurate recording, saving, and testing of online uploading
