Summer Camping

19-23 July 2023

Join your fellow Scouts for a unique 3 to 5 day camping experince this summer at Camp John H. Ware. Participating in this camping experience will also allow Scouts to complete adventures towards rank advancement, earning STEM Nova Awards (Wolf, Bear, Webelos), and earn the coveted Whittling Chip (Bear). Attending Scout summer camp also helps Scouts to earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award. 

Scouts can choose to participate in any section length that fits their desire: 3-day (Friday arrival), 4-day (Thursday arrival), and 5-day (Wednesday arrival - Webelos only). 

• Parent participation is required for Lion and Tiger Scouts
• Wolf and Bear Scouts can participate in activities by themselves; however, parents must be present for overnight
• Webelos do not need a parent for activities or overnight

Camping continues to be the number one reason why youth join Cub Scouts. Take advantage of this unique camping opportunity to leave distractions behind, bond with fellow scouts, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Note: Scouts will graduate to the next rank level in May, so attending summer camp will give you a jump start on the next scouting season.
