LBA Wills for Heroes - Attendees
The Lafayette Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section is hosting a
Wills for Heroes Event for your organization. The Wills for Heroes Foundation works nationwide with affiliate organizations to provide free wills and other estate planning documents to America’s first responders, which include police officers, firefighters and paramedics.
Every participating first responder will have the opportunity to meet individually with a licensed attorney have a Last Will & Testament, a Healthcare Power of Attorney, and a Declaration/Living Will drafted on his/her behalf without charge.
No attorney-client relationship or other professional relationship of any nature whatsoever will be deemed to have been created by a first responder’s participation in WFH.
You must complete this preliminary paperwork and bring it with you to your session. ***If you spouse is attending, they MUST sign up under their own time slot in order to sit with an attorney.***
