Running Race Volunteers
Assist in the set-up, registration, street closure, running route and tear down of the 2 mile fun run.
7:00am - 9:30am (15)
Register floats on-site, assign float numbers to pre-registered and day-of floats
8:00am - 10:00am (2)
Parade Line-up Commanders
Make sure floats are in line correctly and assist with last minute needs, adjustments etc of Parade Line-up. *Must be able to legally and safely operate a golf cart.
Parade Security Leader
Assign road closure volunteers their location and be their lead troubleshooter as needed. *Must be able to legally and safely operate a golf cart.

Stand at designated street closure and stop traffic from driving through while providing guests with alternate routes.

Handicap Parking Assistants
Maintain parking spots on Park St. between Boyne City Hardware and Pat O'Brien's office as designated for handicap parking only.
Dress in costume and walk Parade interacting with the crowd (we provide the costumes). Great for young, drama students!

Stand by the Dilworth and start the parade after Military send-off is complete, than space floats so they're not too far apart or close together.

Crowd Control Captain
Hand out safety vests and assign street locations for crowd control volunteers and be their point person for trouble shooting. *Must be able to legally and safely operate a golf cart.

Watch the parade with your family! Stand in designated spot and ensure crowd doesn't encroach into street past caution tape. Notify Crowd Control Captain of any major safety issues.

Bring registration sheets down (in order) to Parade Announcer and help announcer keep them in order as they announce the floats.
