A Bavarian feat of strength, the stein-holding contest is a longstanding tradition to see who can hold a full stein of beer at arm's length for as long as possible.
Judged by Dan Gordon of Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, the annual contest will be held in the Biersch Garden at 3pm on both days of the festival.
The cost to participate in the Stein Holding contest is $20 and must be paid with the Chamber office prior to the beginning of the festival on Saturday. After signing up you will recieve an email from the Chamber with a link for payment or please call the Chamber office to make your payment at 408-378-6252 and then you will receive your confirmation of participation.
- Must be 21+ to participate in the Contest and you must provide proper ID on the day of the event.
- Sign up under Men's or Women's
- Sign up for One Day ONLY
- Must be able to Check-In at the festival at 1pm on the day you are competing.
- Payment must be completed
If you are unable to provide payment, proper ID or Check in at 1pm then your place in the contest can be given to a walk up registrant.
After you sign up to compete more details will follow in an email regarding check in locations, etc. as we get closer to the event.
