Adult Formation and Faith Sharing
Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis' 3rd Encyclical
JUNE 30th @ 6:30PM
(Further scheduling to be decided by the group)
Deacon Bill and Mary Jo Holzhaeuser welcome deepening friendships and understanding through the reading and discussion of Fratelli Tutti. In Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis reflects with profound simplicity on a topic of great importance: human solidarity and friendship. Pope Francis calls us to live out our Christian duty to see the face of Jesus in our neighbors, recognizing everyone we meet as a brother or sister. By fostering a genuine affection for all, we reaffirm the dignity of every human person created in the image and likeness of God. Throughout the eight chapters, Pope Francis challenges and inspires the faithful to respond “with a new vision of fraternity and social friendship that will not remain at the level of words.”
We invite you to download your own copy of Fratelli Tutti from the internet in advance of the first gathering. Googling Fratelli Tutti will guide you to the download. A handful of copies also will be available from the Ministry Center, as needed. Please begin reading prior to the 30th!
