Gallatin County Democrats: Volunteers for Democracy
Join the fun in the Manhattan Potato Festival. Bring your walking shoes and high spirits to march with fellow Democrats and local candidates. We'll be revitalizing a human "Blue Wave" (think Chinese dragon) so you don't want to miss out on the fun!
Parade line up begins at 10am at the intersection of Culver Place and Manhattan South. The parade officially begins at 11am.
We'll also have a booth during the festival, and will need volunteers to staff the booth in the following capacities:
- Voter Registration fanatics (1-2 per shift)
- Volunteers will manage the voter registration drive at this event, asking visitors if they are registered and if not, encouraging them to complete the forms. We will provide training to any volunteer who has not done this before
- Community Conversers (1-2 per shift)
- Keeping with the theme of "Life in the 406", we'd like to engage community members in conversations about what is important to them, what they like and dislike about living here, and ideas they have to improve our community.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
