Hillsborough Arts Council - Last Fridays & the Art Walk

2022 LFAW Volunteer Sign Up (July-September)

Full programming for Last Fridays & the Art Walk returns to Hillsborough this March-November, with activities spanning Historic dowtown, the West End, and River Park. Supporting hundreds of artists and hosting thousands of visitors is no small feat - we need your help!

Each month we'll need up to 15 volunteers helping with equipment transport/setup/teardown, greeting & wayfinding, adovcating for the mission of HAC & tourism to Hillsborough, supporting art making activities, and generally spreading good vibes during this special community event series. Sign up for a shift that appeals to you & we'll be in touch with more info in advance of the date.

NOTE: Multiple months of Last Fridays are included in this SignUp below - please carefully review the dates on the lefthand side as you scroll. Be sure to click "submit & sign up" at the bottom of the screen to complete your registration on the next page.

EVENT SETUP: Makers Market Artist Load-In & Hospitality (2)

Help mark vendor spots; greet Makers Market vendors with carts/dollies & assist with load-in of supplies & tents to vendor spots; provide general support/wayfinding as needed, etc.

Help complete HAC booth setup. Serve as HAC “Ambassador” - see supplies checklists & FAQs/reference sheet; training on facilitating merchandise/donations will be required & provided; "pass baton" to next ambassadors & enjoy second half of the event.
