The Underground Music Showcase

The Underground Music Showcase - Is one of Denver's Premier Music Festivals. We are a celebration of main street businesses and local artists. We couldn't produce a 3 day, 20 venue, 4 Outdoor Stage event without dedicated and civic minded volunteers. This year 8 Hours (2 Shifts) will earn a 3-Day Pass to the UMS. or 4 Hours (1 Shift) will earn you 1 Day Pass.
1. It is important that you read the Harm Reduction Plan. You will be required to sign an acknowledgement note before you begin your first shift. This will be sent to you and will be hosted on the UMS website (It will be live on the website 7/25)
2. Volunteer Check-In will be located next to the Main Box Office located at Archer and Broadway.
3. If you have split shifts you will be required to leave your credit card information on file with the volunteer booth. Upon completion of your shifts you will be returned the paperwork. If you fail to appear for your full shifts, you will be charged the price of a ticket.
4. We need Breakdown volunteers - if you choose that shift you will only need to complete that shift for the 3-day pass. Please see 3. above.
Volunteer Duty Descriptions:
Doors/Main Stage/Stages - Volunteer will assist UMS Staff at venue entrances, including outdoor stages . Tasks will include checking wristbands, and to answer general questions, directions to nearest box-office.
Set-Up/Breakdown- Volunteer will be assigned to a UMS Staff member. Tasks will require the ability to life 15 pounds. Task include load in/out of design decor and tents, fixing signage, moving ice, and other duties as assigned.
Ambassador - Volunteer works will assist UMS Staff and Community Engagement Director to answer community questions. This position will require walking and interacting with the public.
If you sign-up on this form consider that you are confirmed for those shifts. The week of the UMS you will receive confirmation and further instruction for volunteering.
