BFM O&C Event at Glenstone

Join the BFM Outreach & Communication Committee for a casual community gathering in June! We would like to offer an opportunity for BFM Friends to gather and connect at a local art venue, Glenstone (https://www.glenstone.org/).“Glenstone is a place that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative environment.” Our committee has secured 40 tickets (all free) for BFM Friends to meet up and enjoy a community outing as they visit the outdoor/indoor art venue together on Saturday, June 10 at 10am. This opportunity is open to anyone 12 years and older since Glenstone does not allow younger children to visit.

We will be meeting at the entrance to Glenstone as a group between 10:00am-10:15am (look for the BFM sign), and will have the tickets there so that we can all get checked in together. When you enter the driveway to Glenstone, you can just tell them that you are coming as part of the Bethesda Friends Meeting Group. People can visit the indoor and outdoor exhibits together or in small groups. The group tickets do not include a specific group tour of the exhibits, but staff who work in each of the exhibit rooms are always engaging with the guests. Glenstone has an outdoor café patio and indoor café where people can order beverages and food, if interested. Though there is free parking at the venue, we encourage carpooling if possible; you can also take the Ride-On bus #301 from Rockville Metro.  We'll plan to wait for anyone taking the bus, so let us know in advance if you will be arriving by bus.
