League of Women Voters for Reasonable Redistricting Reform
The state League of Women Voters has received a grant from the LWVUS for a project to bring about “Reasonable Redistricting Reform” in North Carolina. Local Leagues are working with the LWVNC Fair Elections Action Team to host 6 workshops across North Carolina to advance effective advocacy on redistricting reform.
During the workshops, we will learn more about issues involved in redistricting, and will identify local community stakeholders and decision-makers as potential partners with the League to work on redistricting reform. We must act now to prevent another decade of gerrymandering! Be a part of the process! Feel free to invite others, including non-League members, who are willing to work towards the goal of getting this much-needed reform passed.
Complimentary lunch will be provided to workshop attendees, at some locations, before the workshop begins. Registration is required (no charge). Please indicate if you will also join us for lunch. If you have questions, contact Tyler Daye: [email protected].
Pick the location and date that works for you!
