Please use this sign-up for the week of Band Camp (Monday July 29-Friday August 2).
Parent volunteers provide health and safety during band camp week. This is anything from providing a band aids, ice, or giving moral support!
Health & Safety volunteers are divided into 3 shifts per day.
The am/morning shift is at the field. Volunteers will need to fill up the large water jugs and bring out to field with first aid bag and binder. There is also a canopy and some chairs that will need to be set up as well.
The midday shift is responsible for any needs while students are inside practicing music. Please keep in mind pending weather, the color guard and percussion will still be outside. The canopy is lowered, one water jug stays at field, the other goes inside.
The pm/evening shift is back at the field. Volunteers will need to check the water jugs to be refilled as needed. The canopy and chairs will need to be taken down and returned to the band room for the next day.
FYI: Volunteers should bring a water bottle and chair for themselves to use. AM/morning volunteers are welcome to have lunch with band.
Water/ICE are provided by school and we fill up jugs in the school cafeteria.
Please feel free to sign-up for MULTIPLE SHIFTS!
