Youth and Family

Family Astronomy Night

Science Heads will be at Crown Valley Park for a Family Astronomy Night! We will be hosting astronomy-relaled science stations, including Eclipse on the Wall (see how exlipses happen) Twinkle Stars (why do stars twinkle?), Sunset in a Glass Dish (why does the sky turn red at sunset?), Pie Plate Solar System (can you make the Earth orbit the Sun?) and a revised Constellation Identification station (how many do you know?).

Science Heads' mobile observatory and telescopes will be open for public viewing.  Let's hope that the clouds will partiipate, and we have clear skies.

Families of up to 6 people will visit the telescopes every 10 minutes, from 7:00pm-9:30pm.

The telescopes will be at the upper soccer field, which is located at Crown Valley Park.  Park by the community center and walk up the hill to the upper soccer field.

Date: 05/27/2022 (Fri.)

Location: CVCC upper soccer field
29751 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677
