Spring 2019 College BS Sign-up

Thank you for volunteering to provide a home-cooked meal for our College Bible Study Group at Holy Trinity! 

      College students often miss home-cooked meals and the relationship with their home church when they begin college.  We hope our ministry helps fill these and other voids and we are thankful for your help! I can certainly promise you that no one will appreciate a home-cooked meal more than a college student!

What to do:

1. Sign up for a date that works for you.

2. In the comment box, write-in your full menu. The people who sign up later need to know your choice so that it isn't repeated. 

If you are not sure of your menu, put "Menu TBD" in the comment box.  But please come back and change this once you know what is to be served.

3. Please plan a vegetarian option for 2-3 people or contact Gail Goldsmith ([email protected]) or Debra Armstrong-Wright ([email protected]) for help and ideas.

4. Plan to feed 15-20 people -- ask a friend to help so that you can share this ministry and the responsibilities.

5. Bring the meal to the parish hall by 5:45 pm so that the students can eat at 6pm. There is another crew that serves and cleans up after the meal. 

Allergy notice:  Please mark all meals that contain nuts. There is a potential nut allergy within the group.  Please let us know if your meal contains nuts so any affected individuals can make an informed decision about their meal choice.

Tips:

The church provides all plates, cups, utensils, and drinks. You only provide the meal.

You may cook at the church if you prefer or use the warmer to keep the meal at temperature after it is delivered.

You are welcome to join the group for dinner and Bible study or drop the meal and go.  The choice is yours.  If you leave, all personal cooking dishes will be washed and left in the kitchen for you to pick up at your convenience.
