Let Your Yoga Dance® with Instructor Emily Stauch, Kripalu Certified Instructor

Let Your Yoga Dance® is a rejuvenating experience that utilizes easy-to-follow dance and yoga-inspired movements to unleash body and spirit.  Based on Kripalu Yoga’s free flow of yoga postures known as meditation in motion, it is a unique fusion of moving gentle yoga, breath, and user-friendly dance, set to fabulous music and rhythms of diverse genres, cultures, and decades.  Let YOUR Yoga Dance by moving at YOUR OWN pace. 

The class is led by Emily Stauch.  Emily Stauch has been teaching Let Your Yoga Dance® since 2013, after receiving her certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA, where she was mentored by the founding director of the program. Emily first came to yoga to help alleviate the stress of being a busy professional classical singer and teacher, and has practiced yoga in various forms since 2001. She always enjoyed dancing and studying dance, so she was excited to discover Let Your Yoga Dance at Kripalu for the first time in 2011, as she found that it combined elements of user-friendly dance and yoga with music, making it the ideal movement class for all ages and body types. Emily now enjoys guiding students in their journey through the body’s energy centers, a journey filled with self-exploration and playful self-expression, always individually-paced and offered in a safe, fun and compassionate environment. With an interest in the field of positive psychology, she is intent on sharing the positive, restorative and healing energy of Let Your Yoga Dance to reduce stress and anxiety, encourage creativity, increase body/mind harmony, and lift the spirit. 

Dress for comfort and ease-- bare feet or light indoor shoes are recommended.  Bring water and a mat, towel, or blanket to lie on; prepare to relax, let go and enjoy.
