When Feedback Attacks: Rethinking and Reframing Student Feedback

Why is "good job" actually a bad job? This session will examine why we should deliver "meaningful and substantive" feedback in our classes and what that kind of feedback should look and sound like. We will reframe feedback as "continued instruction," and we'll consider different methods (and short cuts) for providing feedback in a lively and (hopefully) humorous discussion.
