Arcadia One Lunch - Spring 2022

Arcadia One Lunch, Covid Version, is a well-oiled machine by now and we need YOU to help keep it working smoothly!  

Volunteers can sign up for as few or as many shifts as they like.  Volunteers will be responsible for arriving at the cafeteria by 11:35 (after signing in at the office) and will support our Nutritional Services professionals as they get hundreds of hungry teenagers fed and ready for the afternoon.  We will be in the food service area of the cafeteria, helping to keep the line moving smoothly, consolidating food as necessary, and supporting the staff as we can.  We are usually finished by 12:15.

We follow district guidelines regarding volunteer requirements and Covid protocols.  Volunteers must be cleared by the district and wear their district-issued badge while volunteering.  You can find more information on this process on the Arcadia PTO and SUSD website.  The Covid safety protocols change depending on the current circumstances.  At this time (2/15/2022), volunteers are not required to wear masks while volunteering.  Of course, this is subject to change.  Please check the Arcadia PTO website for the latest updates.  Additionally, we are working in a food service area so please wear closed-toed shoes and wash your hands when you arrive at the cafeteria in order to comply with health code requirements.

One more thing!  This schedule is subject to revision.  We do not yet have the spring assembly dates, and assemblies modiy the schedule a bit.  Additionally, we expect at least one late start date in the spring for testing - so please make sure that emails from this SignUpGenius account and [email protected] are going to your inbox and not your spam folder.  We do our best to keep you up to date!
