Announcing Auditions for Steel Magnolias at Chanticleers Theatre

Robert Harling’s beautifully crafted play provides an entire cast of women with superb opportunities to explore complex, sensitive and endearing relationships. Set in a beauty salon in the South, this play reveals a range of situations that span the human condition through comedy and drama.
The eight great roles span three generations from 19 years old to the late 60s.
Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script. Southern Dialect will be used.
