Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Wright-Locke Farm. The work that our volunteers do is important for both the operations of our non-profit communtiy farm as well as for building the community that makes up our vibrant, small farm. Welcome!
In order to cultivate a safe and effective volunteer program, we require that all new volunteers to Wright-Locke Farm attend a volunteer orientation session. We host at least 2 per month and hope you'll be able to attend. During this orientation, we will give you and introduction and tour of the Farm, go over farm safety, volunteer policies, and the logistics of our volunteer system. After this orientation, you will be eligible to sign-up for any of our level-1 volunteer opportunities as well as sign-up for training sessions for level-2 volunteer opportunities.
Please note, you must fill out our Volunteer Form before arriving at the orientation.
We will meet at the 1827 Barn. Dress for the outdoors as our barn is not heated and since we will be walking around the farm for a mini-tour.
