Safe Space Ally Training aims to equip students, faculty, and staff with the tools for creating Safe Spaces and welcoming environments for all students on campus. Participants will have the opportunity to confront the idea of privilege, learn about the LGBTQ community, interact with people who identify as LGBTQ, and gain the skills to make a difference in their departments and student interactions.
The training is presented in two, two-hour blocks. The sections may be taken in any order and both are required to become an ally and receive your display placard. Please join us for one or both sessions this semester.
