During Lent we've looked at the many ways our ordinary days and routines provide opportunities to connect with God and experience sacredness. As Holy Week approaches, we will have an opportunity to interrupt our ordinary routines to set aside time for intentional prayer. Join us in the church sanctuary for a twelve hour prayer vigil on Holy Thursday, April 18 from 8:00am - 8:00pm. Prayer stations will be set around the room for silent prayer and meditation, the pews will be open for personal prayer, and kneelers will be available in front of the altar.
The prayer stations will be open for dropping in to pray, but we'd also like to ensure that someone is praying in the sanctuary for the entire 12 hours. If you are ready to commit to a time of prayer, please sign up for a 30 minute time slot to pray in the sanctuary. A few times throughout the day, our pastors will offer spoken prayers in the sanctuary as well.
