You read that right: today, we'll learn how to make healthy *and* tasty smoothies. Participants will learn how to eat with the seasons, with emphasis on Spring, to nourish and lighten up from winter. We teach how to build a disease fighting, well balanced, and delicious green smoothie for renewed energy. We’ll also discuss the difference between juicing and blending, and how to introduce smoothies to your family. Recipes and samples will be provided.
This program is free and open to the public, however registration required.

Mary Ellen Zung is a holistic Health Coach working with people who want to feel better and have more control over their lives, their health, and their happiness.
Mary Ellen holds a BA in Psychology from Emmanuel College, a teaching certificate, and has been a long-time student of nutrition science and coaching methodology. She has worked as a wellness coach with a popular weight loss company for 13 years, and received further training and certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. Mary Ellen recently became a certified Lifestyle Coach for the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program.
She is a member of the International Association of Health Coaches, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and the Natural Life Business Partnership.
