Friends of the Carrollton Public Library
Volunteers sort donated books and media, and pack them in boxes for storage for our next book sale. Volunteer sorting happens every Saturday starting at 10am. To volunteer, come to the library branch, check at the library desk, and the librarians will direct you to the sorting area. We alternate between library locations for Saturday book sorting.
- At Hebron and Josey Library on the first and third Saturdays of the month
- At Josey Ranch Lake Library on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month
We welcome groups for Saturday book sorting, but due to space restrictions, we must limit volunteer groups to 6 people. Currently we are limiting all volunteers to 8 people each Saturday.
Volunteers must sign a waiver from the City of Carrollton. Volunteers under 18 must have a parent’s signature on the waiver form.
