Kirk in the Hills Volunteers & Friends serving Hope Against Trafficking
Hope Against Trafficking is a Southeast-Michigan organization that provides extended-term safe housing in Pontiac for women who have been rescued from commercial sex or labor activity which has been induced through threat, force or coercion. It is a 24-month residential program that provides rent-free housing and comprehensive services focused on physical, mental, emotional and economic transformation.
We have several opportunities to serve Hope Against Trafficking, ranging from some renovation projects in the safe houses, painting, cleaning, outdoor yard work, indoor kitchen set up, preparing some meals and serving as an occasional driver for a client to go to appointments.
