Remove Invasive Plants

Donaldson Run/GW Parkway

Improve habitat, meet fellow do-gooders, get exercise, and learn about native plants and wildlife all while making a difference in the great outdoors.  Volunteers at this site may work in Donaldson Run Park or along the Potomac in NPS's land in the George Washington Memorial Parkway.  Volunteers may need to hike for up to 1 mile across rough terrain.

Meet at the sign that reads Donaldson Run Nature Area, opposite 4009 N. 30th St, Arlington.

Volunteers shouild dress to work outdoors, and are encouraged to bring their own work gloves and water bottles. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing, and should cancel their registration if they have any COVID symptoms, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
