AAF Donors

Volunteers of America Adopt A Family/Adopt A Program Donor Sign Up

Thank you for your interest in our ADOPT A FAMILY PROGRAM.

Currently all families on this sign up have been adopted by donors- I am able to add a couple of families each day when new families join the program.  If there is a name next to a family's code, it means that this family has been adopted.

If you are still interested in providing gifts and necessities to local families in need, there are still other options on this sign up, including providing gifts for children through our SANTA SHOP.  This program provides over 5,000 toys to local children every year, and is always in need of additional gifts.

After you have made your selection, Nichole Rogers, Adopt A Family Manger, will reach out to you  with delivery instructions, times, and locations. While these requests are "suggestions" from the family, do not feel obligated to purchase every item on a request list.  In some cases, families in transitional housing may not know what items they will need until they have secured permanent housing, and therefore they may request a gift card in lieu of presents.  This is very important to these families as they get settled into a new home and need the basics to furnish that home.

When you receive the family or program profile, you will also receive information about the location and time to drop off your unwrapped, labeled gifts.

If you are unable to fulfill the donation you have selected for any reason, please notify us no later than December 7, 2018.  We need this time to make alternative arrangements for that family or program.

If you do not find a family available that meets the size you are interested in, there are sign up sections where you can find out what programs need to support participants, such as Backpack Kits, Camping Gear, or a gift for a child/teen at our annual Santa Shop!

We appreciate your generosity this holiday season!

If you would like to remain on a waiting list to adopt a family, please email Nichole at [email protected], and if a new family enrolls in the program or if a donor is unable to fulfill the donation, we will reach out to you in the order that you have signed up for the a family.  Thank you for your patience!
