4th of July Festivities Volunteers 2022

Who is excited for a GREAT FUN FILLED 4th of July in Spicer?!!!

It takes an army to run the 4th of July events so please volunteer to help where you can. Approximately 100 volunteers are needed to run the events!

We need volunteers to work at our Kiddie Night on Friday, July 1st, the Street Dance on Saturday, July 2nd and the Grand Day Parade on Monday, July 4th.

Kiddie Night volunteers are needed for the bounce houses, the Pedal Pull and the Kiddie Parade. We will include a free T-shirt or tank top for all volunteers! 

The band for the street dance is The Fabulous Armadillos and we anticipate a great night! There are 2 shifts available 7 - 9 pm and 9 - 11pm, plus we need several to stay for clean-up. Duties available are front gate entry, beer ticket sales and boundary guards for both shifts. The first shift fills up the fastest so we need more volunteers for second shift. Volunteers get free entry into the dance, a T-shirt or tank top and 2 drink tickets. 

We also need volunteers for the parade on Monday, July 4th to help with the line up 8:30a to 11:00a and we need people along the route to be our eyes for things such as parade participation or crowd issues. You sit and enjoy the parade with your family as you usually would, just contact the organizer if anything should come up.
