UPDATE: Due to a school calendar extension, our first Minecraft camp of June 18-22 will now be a daily camp ($50/day). You will be invoiced only for the days that you attend.
Are your kids engaged in hands-on learning of science, technology, arts and crafts that is fun, challenging, and rewarding? Are they interested in career topics like animation, game design, electronics, or robotics? Are you looking for a camp that has a great student/instructor ratio, with a curriculum for advanced students?
Join us for our fifth year of spring and summer camps that the kids really enjoy while they accidentally learning new skills. Suggested age range for all camp sessions is 9-14, with more challenging projects available for advanced and high school students. For more details, please visit our website.
You do not need to be a resident of Greenbelt, but you do need to be a member of the Greenbelt Makerspace Cooperative. The annual membership dues are just $20 (per adult, covers all kids from the same household). Membership has great benefits because as a co-op member, you are an owner of the MakerSpace! Click here for more information.
All 5-day camps are still just $250. The one-day Minecraft Programming Workshop is an extra $50.
To hold a camp slot, a non-refundable $50 deposit is due at the time of registration and full payment is due three weeks prior to the start of your camp session. Refunds of full payment will only be made if a replacement participant fills your slot from the waiting list.
Our camps run 9:00-3:30, Monday-Friday. Before-camp ($25) and after-camp ($75) programs are available as an option.
After you register, please complete a camper profile form located on our website.
The Greenbelt MakerSpace is located at 125 Centerway, Greenbelt, MD 20770. We are approximately 900 feet from the Greenbelt Recreation and Parks department and we welcome Greenbelt Rec Camp kids to our after-camp program.
