Be a part of the Carmel Bach Festival’s Wednesday night main Concert “Cathedral Echoes” at the Carmel Mission Basilica. We seek 12-18 volunteers per performance to serve as Candle Bearers. This opportunity is very immersive as you participate in the performance by proceeding in with the musicians at the start of the concert and receding out with them at the end of the concert.
Participants need to be able to walk from a classroom to the courtyard and through the sanctuary. Our group will be standing in the courtyard for 20 minutes during tower music. Dress requirements include soft-soled black shoes and black clothing for all parts not covered by choir robes.
A mandatory rehearsal will be held in conjunction with the Chorale’s Dress Rehearsal, you will be contacted by a CBF staff memnber as to the date and time.
