St. Dysmas is a congregation of the ELCA serving the inmates at the South Dakota State Penitentiary. Jesus taught us that whatever we do for the least of His people we do for Him. Men behind the walls of a penitentiary are perhaps the leastest among us. You will receive a warm welcome and be much appreciated!
If you would like to participate you will need a current background check (good for a year). It is super easy! Please fill out a Waiver Form and a DOC Access Approval Form found at http://www.stdysmas.com/visiting/st-dysmas-sdsp/ and submit according to the instructions found there. The deadline for the paperwork is February 14, 2019.
